Can I install the smart lock without modifying my existing door?
Yes. All our products are designed for retrofit installation. You do not need to replace the door, frame, or mortise lock body. The smart lock cylinder or motorized unit installs directly onto your existing hardware, making it ideal for rental properties where structural modifications are not permitted or practical.
Which PMS and channel managers are compatible?
Through TTLock Hotel Pro, our products integrate with major PMS platforms and channel managers including Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Guesty, Hostaway, and many others. For custom integrations, we also provide API and SDK access. Contact us for a complete compatibility list.
How are guest access codes managed?
Access codes are generated automatically based on booking dates and times. Each guest receives a unique, time-limited code that is only valid during their stay. Codes expire automatically at check-out time. You can also manually generate, modify, or revoke codes at any time through the management dashboard.
What happens if the battery runs out?
Our smart locks provide low-battery alerts well in advance through the management app. Battery life typically lasts 8-12 months under normal use. In an emergency, an external USB-C power source can be used to power the lock temporarily. The mechanical key override also remains functional at all times.
